Can You Help?

As most of you know, a major earthquake struck southern Haiti on Tuesday.  Haiti is one of the poorest countries on earth and will need the world's help in saving the injured and rebuilding.  At the very least, go to your local blood bank and give a pint of blood.  If you have the means to do so, please donate to the Red Cross or Doctors without Borders by clicking the below link.  Even five dollars will help send medical teams where they are most needed.

Support Doctors Without Borders in Haiti

I am very proud that Americans always come to the aid of people during tragedy despite our problems at home.  Please do what you can.

There is a local charity here that I am donating to. Link is on my blog if you are interested. It is my cousin's in-laws. They are already there and have been for the last 20 years!

The devestation there is just unimaginable. The face that this country was already desolate and then to get hit with this....I hope this will be a time for Haiti to rebuild to be a better stronger country all around.

My husband went and donated blood today and we are making donations and awareness. This is horribly tragic.

I'm back on the scene!!! Being a Disaster Recovery expert, I am appalled that the media are there before rescue and medical teams can get mobilized.
