Let's see.  What have you kids missed.

Friday one of my clinicians verbally attacked a surgery tech and called her a lazy fucking bitch in the middle of clinic.  Damage control on that one was really pleasant.

Sunday the office was broken into and our 65" LCD TV used to entertaining people waiting for loved ones is now in someone's van trying to be sold for pennies on the dollar.

Monday morning I got to see the CSI unit at work and it isn't half as interesting as it looks on television.

Monday afternoon I had to fire a long time employee for adding an extra couple of hours a week on her time card.

Monday evening I was stuck in the office until 9pm for all the locks to be changed.

This morning I didn't have time for my usual peanut butter toast breakfast and picked up a breakfast sandwich from Mickey Ds.  My stomach is now in rebellion mode and threatening to reverse gears.

So...no time to blog.  Hope your week is going better.

Is it not just so much fun being the boss? I wonderif people really knew what a shitty gig it really is would so many people aspire to it? If I knew then what I know now I think I would stick to pulling the sticks on a bull dozer. No worries no problems , work go home and forget about it all.

Firing people sucks. And I always tried to be the "friend" sort of boss too - so it always sucked doubly! Sorry.

That really blows. Your office is out of control!

I'm gonna try to find that van. Just in time for the Super Bowl!!! haha ;-)

That's funny Jay, that is exactly what the cop said! "Someone is really going to have a nice TV for their Superball party".

Maybe not, they got a couple of really good fresh fingerprints.

Damn you have had a rough few days. Sweet TV. Are you sure it's not an inside job? If not it's at least a patient or a patient's loved one who knew it was there.

I agree Doc with the theory that it is a patient or family member who saw it and thought...score. Employee doesn't seem likely. They bashed through the front door, breaking off the doorknob, set off the alarm, grabbed it and took off. Had to be at least two people. That sucker was heavy.

Damn, Chris. Looking at the bright side (yeah, it is surprising me too), things can only get better.

Okay, you win for overall shittiest few days in a row! Sheesh - it's got to get better, girl!

If you ever want to see you TV again, put $25 dollars in unmarked bills in a plain brown envelope and mail it to...no wait. Leave it at the receptionist desk and tell her not to look up when I come to get it. And don’t call the cops. I’m too smart for them.

Wow, bummer of a week! Too bad about the TV. Some people have no conscience at all. Dickwads. Hopefully the two new people you get to replace the bad employees will totally make up for the pain and inconvenience!
