They Did It AGAIN!!

Long and faithful readers may remember my posting an entry around Christmas a couple of years back about tacky people inviting friends and family to our holiday party.  I thought I had clearly explained what you and a guest are cordially invited actually means.

The invitations have yet to go out and I already have an issue.  Sorry but I am to busy shoving the tissue back in my head from my brain exploding so you kids will have to wait for the complete story.

Perhaps I will be calm in a month or two.

This Friday's site is Vintage Ads.  Check it out.

I would be livid! People are so rude...

Whenever we had an office party, I remember one worker always used to heap up 3 plates of food with everything imaginable and take it home to her husband and kids. It should be noted that she NEVER contributed to the food...when everyone else brought a dish to pass. Some people are just born takers.

I am so sick of the dumbass today. I guess putting you and ONE guest wouldn't help these retards either?

Tried that Kay. They don't assume it means "them". Of course as special snowflakes, their entire family is MORE than welcome at 50 bucks a plate.

Same family responded to the CEOs wedding invite (at 250 a head btw) that they will be bringing NINE. A wife that works for me and her husband decided their children and children's SO should attend the affair as well.

NO CLASS.

This is for an office party?? That is so strange. What are people thinking?

Umm...(looking around and under stuff)...I must have misplaced my invitation. I know you sent me one, I just can't find it. So I'll call all my relatives and tell them they will just have to the Waffle House instead. Damn!

Annoying! I sometimes dream of having a quiet holiday alone....is that wrong?

Gigi. I am soo with you. I really dread this holiday party. While I love parties with friends and family, to me, work deals are exactly that....work. However, all the employees really love it so I must do something right. Well, when you feed their friends, relatives and neighbors and fifty bucks a plate, it is hard NOT to have a good time.
