I am going to cross the line today and blast organized religion.
Collectively the people that run organized religion are a bunch of political, greedy, self serving pieces of dog shit.
Discuss.
I'll be on the phone yelling at the priest of the local parish for attempting to extort more fucking money out of me in the name of the "Lord".

I don't necessarily have a problem with organized religion so much as the big huge nondenominational mega-churches. And the biggest problem I have with them is that the "preacher" has an income that a lot of major league baseball players would be jealous of.
Yeah, I hear you totally on this one. For the most part I'm ok with people believing whatever they want. But when it gets to the ridiculous - I think it's time to rethink things. Such as the no evolution "God put those fossils there to test our faith". WTF? Oh! and that family with 17 kids they keep showing on TV. "As long as the Lord keeps blessing us with children, I'll keep pumping them out." Hmmm.
I have no problem with organized religion as long as they leave me alone and stay off my door step!

I agree. I also have a problem with the Catholic Church, the richest organization in the world and which harbors pedophiles, asking the poor people to give them more money.
There are a lot of starving people in the world but the Pope isn't one of them.
Religion has lost its way.
